Hi! I'm Marley.
Interdisciplinary Artist, Leadership Consultant + Brand Strategist, and Disability Advocate.
My life has been steeped in the deep magic and complex mechanisms of change. Whether through my journey of overcoming 10+ years of complex chronic and life- threatening illness, being fortunate enough to live around the country and the world, navigating generational abuse and addiction, or building two businesses that fuel a life of peace, pleasure and play (!!), I have learned that it is in the times when I’ve felt like I’ve lost everything that I thought I was, that I discovered all that I can be. I have built my relationship to change to be one of wild love and reverence. My compass to honor my needs and desires. Even when it’s hard. Especially then. Change is my greatest invitation: to own, celebrate and leverage all that I am. It is one of my greatest joys to help others do the same.
With a background in neuroscience and the performing arts, my work explores storytelling's effect on the brain and behavior.
The stories that we tell about who we are, and who we can be, define not only our daily lives but our legacies.
They control the 3 areas of our brain-body connection:
Our beliefs
Our biology
Our behavior
When we change the stories we tell about what and who matters (we all do), we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities.
A world where collaboration empowers us to embrace the unexpected and imagination frees us to develop new stories and systems that guide us to grow and thrive. Together.
As a consultant and strategist, I help leaders learn how to harness the science of storytelling and the power of PLAY to create human flourishing during times of change. Together, we update or design a new model for change. Creating cultural, operational and creative systems to drive the prosperity of both the bottom line and the big picture. For full spectrum or a la carte support, I offer executive consulting, culture strategy, brand development, product + service innovation, and creative direction.
Some of my clients include Stanford University, The Juilliard School, Google, Amazon, Wells Fargo and more.
When not collaborating with leaders on juicy ways to innovate our experience of change, I am having fun in the delicious world of Snack Time, a creative consulting studio I recently co-founded with my best friend Anisha Sisodia.
